Learn how to crochet a perfect sphere or ball in spiral with no gaps or lines, step by step, with pictures and descriptions.

The ball is perfect because it avoids the diagonal line marking the increases and decreases. Instead of starting each round (or ending it) with an increase, we do it every other round, and then the other round we start with single crochet. This way, the increases and decreases are staggered, and the result is more attractive.

The balls can be used to make doll heads, animal heads, and even Christmas garlands.
